Exhausted Performance: The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition
Chevy’s 2026 Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition is limited to only 12 vehicles and will be sold in Australia and New Zealand. While it would have been awesome for enthusiasts to grab one of these super limited edition cars, it’s likely too late now, even if you live in the right region.
How It’s Equipped
The special edition 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is built on the 3LZ Coupe, which comes with the Z07 Performance Package. It is painted Switchblade Silver and features Carbon Flash accents on the carbon-fiber ground effects, rear wing, exterior badging, trim pieces, and mirrors. The clear coat roof shows off the unique carbon-fiber weave pattern, while the “Jake” C8.R graphics package on the hood and rear quarter panels signifies the racing heritage.
Exterior and Performance Features
An exclusive Bathurst 12 Hour decal featuring an outline of the circuit adorns the exterior. It is equipped with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Spider Black forged aluminum wheels that cover blue brake calipers wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires measuring 275/30 in the front and 345/25 in the rear.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the limited edition Z06 features Jet Black and Santorini Blue Napa leather on the Competition Seats with blue seatbelts. The interior is finished with carbon-fiber and Stealth trim pieces and features special Bathurst 12 Hour build plates on the inner door jambs individually marked 1 through 12. Accompanying the purchase is a custom artwork print, a Corvette GT3.R printed indoor car cover, and a Corvette Racing merchandise pack.
What Makes Bathurst Special?
For those not familiar with the track, Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, is a unique location. Many closed-course tracks incorporate rolling hills, and street circuits are typically flat as most are located in city centers. However, Mount Panorama is unique because it is located on a mountain, which features narrow walls and steep grades. The circuit is defined by its 571-foot climb and the high speeds reached on the Conrod Straight, both of which contribute to making the race an intense and thrilling event. This is technically a street circuit as it is a public road that is closed during the races that occur annually.
Chevrolet has not yet released pricing or delivery date information and is still finalizing some details about the car. However, if you live in Australia or New Zealand and are just now hearing about the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition, it is likely that you are too late to get one.
